The Visconti-Sforza Tarot is famous as the oldest surviving Tarot deck.
These cards are said to have been commissioned by the Duke of Milan, Francesco Sforza, to be made by the painter Bonifacio Bembo (some say Antonio Cicogna) around 1460, and their design differs from that of today's standard tarot decks.
Also, when it was first discovered, four cards, including the Devil and the Tower, were missing, and it is unclear whether they were lost or never existed in the first place.
This tarot deck is a reproduction of the original by the Italian card manufacturer Lo Scarabeo.
At that time, the four lost cards were also replaced.
These tarot cards are beautifully gold-plated and have a luxurious feel.
The deck consists of 78 cards in total, 22 called the Major Arcana and 56 called the Minor Arcana.
The card has the title in five languages and a serial number written on it.
