Like the previous game, this one features an original new story created in collaboration with Marvel specifically for this game! Created by American comics veteran Kurt Busiek, the enemy in this game is Kang the Conqueror, who controls time and space. Players are transported from time and space to the open-world hub area "Chronopolis," where they'll face off in a cosmic battle unfolding across countless Marvel locations!

In addition, a new mode has been added to this title: Battle Mode, where up to four players can battle using their favorite Marvel characters! Use all the characters you've unlocked in the game and use the powers of your favorite Superheroes and Supervillains in battles with friends and family!
