This album contains two masterpiece violin concertos performed by Kyung-Wha Chung, whose performances are dominated by a strong sense of tension filled with earnest passion. It is well known that her record debut was Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, but the performance recorded here was re-recorded approximately 10 years later in 1981 with Dutoit conducting. (C)RS
