Egyptian Mysticism and Kabbalistic Wisdom: The Brotherhood of Light Egyptian Tarot is a tarot deck that explores the relationship between tarot, Kabbalah, astrology, and ancient numerology. At the core of this system are 12 astrological signs and 36 decans (ten-degree divisions) corresponding to the Major and Minor Arcana. The original black-and-white version was published by the Church of Light in 1936 and designed by Gloria Beresford. In 2003, Vicki Brewer reimagined the original black-and-white imagery, and in 2009, the color version of the Egyptian Tarot was redesigned. It features minimalist Egyptian-themed artwork in pastel colors of yellow, green, blue, and orange. The set consists of 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Marseilles style design features numbers 8 = Justice and 11 = Power. The card backs are indistinguishable between upright and reversed positions. The case is a caramel box type.
