This is the sixth installment in the popular martial arts film series, depicting the exploits of legendary Chinese martial artist Wong Fei-hung (Jet Li). At the invitation of physician So, Fei-hung travels to America with his fiancée Yi (Rosamund Kwan) and his student Cha-to (Sheung Xingxin). However, during an attack by Native Americans, they are swept away by a raging torrent, become separated from the group, and lose their memories. Meanwhile, Yi and his friends finally reach the Chinese settlement where So lives, only to find that discrimination against whites is rampant...
After a brief falling out with producer Tsui Hark, J. Lee teams up with him again after a long time, and with director Sammo Hung Kam-Bo, it's a spectacular lineup. Filmed on location in Texas and featuring Billy the Kid, it's also worthy of note as a martial arts western that foreshadows Jackie Chan's Shanghai Noon. J. Lee's spectacular and spectacular action scenes in the great west are so amazing that you simply have to watch them. (Matota Yasushi)
