The aim was to achieve ultra-high image quality in which "dots appear as dots." Therefore, we have thoroughly eliminated various aberrations that can lead to poor image quality. In particular, axial chromatic aberration, which tends to be noticeable with large-diameter lenses, and sagittal coma flare, which can degrade image quality at the periphery of the screen, are eliminated to the utmost.
Model F045 is made with the same design concept as Tamron's traditional 90mm F/2.8 macro, and the front and back blurs are beautifully blurred. By completely eliminating axial chromatic aberration, we have achieved beautiful, melt-in-your-mouth bokeh with no coloration in either front or back blur.
