1st album “Humming” in 2008 Kenichiro Nishihara, a producer who made a brilliant debut with "Jazz" and has since been hailed as one of the most important figures in the "jazzy hip-hop" scene both in Japan and overseas, with his albums consistently reaching number one in both the album and song categories on the iTunes jazz charts. He has a long history of smash hits, and is now releasing the remix album "Kaleidoscope Suite 2." This remix album is his second since 2018's "Kaleidoscope Suite -Best Mix and Remix-," and is the sequel to that. It's a two-disc set consisting of a best-of album featuring a non-stop mix of 20 carefully selected tracks from his sixth album, "Elastic Afterwords," and his seventh album, "empath," including tracks like "Up All Night feat. SIRUP" and "Heartless feat. Michael Kaneko," as well as a remix album featuring remixes by a stellar lineup of remixers, as well as some self-remixed tracks. The remixers include leading Japanese hip hop producer DJ Mitsu the Beats, singer-songwriter iri, DJ/producer TAAR, who has produced music for a variety of artists and advocates for a new generation of disco/house music, or "MODERN DISCO," beatmaker BROCKBEATS, whose music receives 16 million plays per year on Spotify alone, mainly in the West, KAZUMI KANEDA, now a top artist on the popular Canadian-based lo-fi hip hop label Inner Ocean Records, beatmaker tajima hal, who is based in Bayside Yokohama and active in Tokyo and Kanagawa, and hip hop collective ONENESS, from Heiwajima, Tokyo.
