Iwasaki Morio Shogi Tsume Collection: Shirokawa" is a collection of his works, published around 2015, and includes his 100th tsume. Its appeal lies in its unique art, expressed in Japanese.
The collection includes works primarily published in Shogi World magazine, and primarily features works known as "practical tsume shogi" with pieces positioned in the upper right corner, often referred to as "straight-forward tsume shogi."
The arrangements are in the order of their publication in the magazines, and many of the pieces are medium-length or longer short stories with good moves or strategies in the opening or first half, which I believe is the author's specialty.
There is one "Aburidashi" tsume, which is unusual not only for being a tsume but also for being short in number of moves.
Other conditional works include the "Bishop and Rook Diagram" (No. 63) and the "No Mid-Move Attack" (No. 82).
Thank you for visiting.
