Product Introduction
Escort the decoy Zuikaku!! The long-awaited 5,500-ton light cruiser is finally here, recreated in 2020 with a completely new mold and the latest technology!
●The motif of this figure is her final appearance during Operation Sho-Ichi-Go in October 1944.
・The catapults have been removed and replaced with additional machine guns, and the No. 7 14cm main gun has been replaced with a 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun.
・The horizontal linoleum deck, which differs from the Kuma, has been accurately reproduced.
★Bow
The subtle curve near the bow fairlead has been accurately recreated. The 66cm shear (height) of the bow has been faithfully recreated.
★Main Gun
The 14cm main guns are precisely shaped, including the breech (inside the shield), and a slide mold is used to create an open muzzle.
Only Nos. 1-4 main guns have wavebreaks attached to their shields, and dedicated parts are used to express the difference from Nos. 5-6.
The No. 2 main gun comes with two different parts: one facing backward in a fixed position, and one facing forward with the barrel angled for protection against waves.
★Bridge
The bulletproof plates covering the compass bridge are recreated with meticulous attention to detail, including their shape, rivets, and mounting angle.
★Center
The 5,500-ton light cruiser comes with two types of linoleum deck: vertical and horizontal, while the Tama uses a dedicated horizontal part.
★Stern
The double horn shape at the stern is accurately reproduced on the bottom part.
★Pre-cut stickers are included to recreate the color details.
The Kan NEXT series is designed with a snap-fit system that requires no adhesive, setting it apart from conventional kits.
◆The main color scheme is recreated using pre-painted molding material.
◆Details and markings are recreated with realistic stickers that provide excellent tracking.
◆A split system is used to ensure inconspicuous part joins.
By separating the waterline sections, you can build both offshore and full-hull versions (excluding bonus parts).
This product is made in Japan.
This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
