I hope that through this book, everyone who is interested in Korean society and culture as well as the Korean Wave can learn about Korea more easily and conveniently. The most important reason for foreign students to learn Korean is to enjoy their favorite Korean culture 'as it is in Korean'. This is because I want to watch dramas and movies without subtitles, listen to songs in Korean, understand them right away, and sing again. This is to understand and communicate the words of the stars they love in Korean. In short, this is the reason why interest in Hallyu led to studying Korean. Foreigners who have been studying Korean to enjoy the Korean Wave are expected to be able to more easily understand the Korean Wave and Korean society and culture through this book. To this end, the article was structured as easily as possible, focusing on expressions that intermediate to advanced level learners can understand. They also covered various topics such as Korean language, art, sports, science, education, and history so that people can understand Korea as a whole. As I read the article, I tried to learn the actual words and expressions currently frequently used in Korea. In particular, I looked at the latest materials so that I could understand recent Korean society. For words and expressions that are difficult to replace with easy expressions, translations (Japanese, Chinese, and English) are presented in the appendix so that they can be read without a dictionary. The front and back of the reading text were intended to help the reader understand the content by presenting topics or materials to think about or thinking about the reader's experiences in relation to the topic of the article. Also, I was able to check my level of understanding of what I read through a quiz. In particular, in the case of vocabulary quizzes, I tried to develop the ability to learn ten vocabulary through a single vocabulary based on understanding the characteristics of Korean vocabulary, such as the semantic relationships between vocabulary words and how meaning is expanded.
